TERMS OF SALE

 

1.  IAV DJ prides itself in supplying the best possible online retail experience possible with the very best service and prices.  We do not supply goods for demonstration or trial so make sure you have researched the product or products before you make your purchase.  We will help you in any way we can, feel free to ask us for advice at any time but we strongly suggest that if you are not sure about a product do not purchase it from us until you are sure it is the item you want and need.  This includes making sure that the size of the product is not an issue and will fir where you need it to go.  If dimensions are not shown online contact us by email and we will give you the full dimensions.  Unless we are specifically asked about requirements or compatibility, we shall assume the customer is aware of what these are.

 

2.  All prices include vat at the current rate and delivery charges where relevant.  Delivery charges apply to Ireland only.  We do not deliver outside of Ireland without agreeing to.  In these special circumstances we will obtain a rate from our shipping partners.

 

3.   On the occasion where a price is listed incorrectly due to a error or otherwise, we will inform you immediately as to the correct price of the goods. You will then have the option to proceed with or cancel the sale. A contract isn't active until you have taken delivery of your order.

 

4.  The information on this website is given in good faith and every effort is made to ensure that all details, descriptions, images and prices on the website are correct. Although we aim to keep the website as up to date and accurate as possible, the information about a product on the website at a particular time may not always exactly reflect the position at the moment you place an order. We do not accept liability for inaccuracies.

 

5.  When paying by dedit or debit cards or any of our online payment methods you will be charged once you have placed the order. 

 

6.  If you are paying by debit or credit rard or any of our online payment methods please note that goods can only be delivered to the address at which your card or delivery address is registered. Variations may apply, but please ask for details.

 

7.  For your protection a receipt for your goods, together with the order tracking number and courier details, will be sent by email on the afternoon of dispatch. No documentss with personal information will be enclosed within the order itself. The shipping label on the outside of the packing will confirm the order was sent by IAVDJ.ie

8. If for any reason, it is not possible for us to fulfil your order to be dispatched on the next scheduled shipping date, either due to stock availability or any other reason, we will contact you as soon as possible to present you with the option to either wait for the goods to become available for fulfilment within an agreed time, or offer to cancel your order and process a full refund on the same day. Please note that depending on payment method or bank/building society, there may be a delay with funds appearing back in your account. 

 

9.  We try to deliver items for the next working day for orders placed before 1pm  moday to friday.  However we cannot guarantee this so be aware of this when placing your order.  Always track your delivery for accuarate information.  Please note that our couriers will try to deliver as arranged but we will not be held responsible for any costs incurred because of non delivery or factors caused by others. This service is based upon best endeavour and is not guaranteed.  Failed delivery due to customer not being present or refusing the goods will be subject to a €10 re delivery charge

 

10.  All goods shipped by IAV DJ are covered by the carrier’s insurance. We will ot be responsible for any damaged or missing items.  Claims for non deliver, missing or damaged items must be made within 48 hours.  Any claims made after this time period will not be accepted.

11.  For security reasons we may need to contact you for identity clarification.

 

12.  All products (inc. special offers, upgrades, promotions and free gifts) are subject to availability.

 

13.  All products are covered by manufacturer's warranty. for the period set out by them.  Line Faders, cross faders, switches, cables, stylus and accessories including free items are not guaranteed unless otherwise stated. Warranties will only cover “manufacturing defects” anything that fall outside of this will be liable to a service charge.  The customer is responsible for supplying a copy of their receipt when returning something under warranty.  Failure to do so will render the warranty void.

 

 

14.  By our acceptance of your order the contract formed  shall be governed by Irish laws and you agree to submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.


 

 

 

WARRANTY & RETURNS

1.  All returns will only be accepted with a valid RMA number.  An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number can be got by contacting us by email with the product details, your name and contact details and the reason for the return.

The RMA number should be clearly marked on the box containing the item to be returned.  The item being returned should be in an external box to protect the item and it's packaging.  We will not accept any item where the packing makes the item unsaleable as new.  No RMA no return so please follow the returns procedure.

2.  Any item returned to IAV DJ is done so under the understanding that they are faulty due to “manufacturing defects” which are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.  These goods are accepted by us in good faith.  However if it is found after inspection by the manufacturer or approved service agent that the fault was due to misuse, abuse or accidental damage then the customer will be liable cover the carriage costs and any repairs cost associated with the faulty item.

 

3.  Please be aware that any item returned under manufacturer’s warranty can only be inspected by the manufacturer or their approved service outlet.  If they find evidence of the unit having been opened by the end user or any non approved service outlet the warranty will be void and subject to a service charge to the customer.

 

4.  Goods found to be dead on arrival will be replaced or refunded only when they have been checked for misuse, abuse or accidental damage by the end user.

 

5.  All products are covered by manufacturer's warranty. for the period set out by them.  Line Faders, cross faders, switches, cables, stylus and accessories including free items are not guaranteed unless otherwise stated

 

6.  Any item returned with no fault found will be subject to a €20 handling charge and all associated carriage costs

 

7.  Products packed in sealed plastic or blister packs or any item with a broken seal cannot be returned unless it is found to be faulty

 

8.  For safety and hygiene reasons  headphones cannot be returned for replacement or refund.  They will however be sent for repair in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.

 

9.  Software products can not be returned once the seal is opened or tampered with.  This also applies to any product that comes with free software that has been registered by the end user.

 

10.  The customer is responsible for supplying a copy of their receipt when returning something under warranty.  Failure to do so will render the warranty void.

11.  Special order items will not be accepted back as returns.  It is your responsibility to be sure you have ordered the correct item and as such we cannot be responsible for any errors.

 

 

PRIVACY POLICY

 

At IAV DJ we value your privacy and want to make your shopping experience safe and secure.  When you make a purchase with us and order online it is required  that you setup an account.

 

While shopping online we will collect only information that is critical to the completion of the order. Your name, address and contact phone numbers are stored securely in our system for your future orders or manufacturer recalls.  Credit card information is not retained or stored.

 

During the registration we may ask you to sign up for a newsletter.  We do not share your email address with any third parties, and you will not receive any emails from us if you decide not to sign up for our newsletter.

 

Any emails that are used in completing your online purchase system will however be used to send order confirmation, invoices or tracking details and anything associated with that order.

 

We recommend that your password should be at least 5 characters long and should be different from your username. Use a strong password as you are solely responsible for you account, we do not accept any responsibility for any third party accessing your account.

 

Your e mail address must be valid. We use email for invoices and order confirmations.  These will be needed for your warranty. 

 

All your private data is confidential.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

 

If you have any complaints or concerns regarding your purchase or the way in which your transaction was handled, please inform us by email.  We work very hard to ensure customer satisfaction and if you feel we haven’t lived up to your expectations let us know and we will try to resolve your issue as quickly as we possibly can.
